• Social Graph: A graph that represents social relations between entities. In short, it is a model or representation of a social network. The social graph has been referred to as “the global mapping of everybody and how they’re related”
  • Web of Trust: A network where keys are distributed via trusted introducers. Trust is reinforced throughout the network
  • Decentralization: The process of dispersing power from a central authority. In tech this means distributing power/ownership amongst the community of users as opposed to having ownership reside solely in the hands of a singular entity, usually a corporation.
  • DAO: A decentralized autonomous organization, sometimes labeled a decentralized autonomous corporation, is an organization represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the organization members and not influenced by a central government.
  • Smartocracy: A social software system for collective decision making. The system is composed of a social network that links individuals to those they trust to make good decisions and a decision network that links individuals to their voted-on solutions.
  • Knowledge Graph: A knowledge graph is a knowledge base that uses a graph-structured data model or topology to integrate data. Knowledge graphs are often used to store interlinked descriptions of entities – objects, events, situations or abstract concepts – with free-form semantics.
